Jazeera Airways has announced a partnership with HTS, the B2B division of Hopper, to introduce two new travel products: Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) and Disruption Assistance For Any Reason (DAFAR). This collaboration marks a significant development as Jazeera becomes the first airline in the Middle East to offer these innovative fintech solutions, which will be available on its mobile app and desktop channels later this year.

The CFAR product allows travelers to cancel their non-refundable flight tickets for any reason up to 24 hours before departure and receive a refund of either 80% or 100% of their ticket cost. This feature is designed to provide customers with greater flexibility and peace of mind when booking their travel.

DAFAR addresses the common concerns of passengers regarding travel disruptions. If a flight is delayed by two hours or more, or if it is canceled on the day of travel, passengers will be notified and can rebook on any airline or receive a full refund if they are unsatisfied with the new options.

Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience through innovative solutions that cater to passenger needs. He noted that the partnership with HTS leverages data-driven approaches to improve customer convenience and reliability.

Dakota Smith, President and Co-Founder of Hopper, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting that these premium add-ons can help airlines enhance customer satisfaction while also generating additional revenue.
