Dubai-based carrier flydubai has entered into an agreement with Boeing to retrofit 21 of its 737 MAX aircraft. This upgrade will involve the installation of larger Space Bins, which are designed to increase overhead storage capacity.

According to WAM, the agreement was announced during the Aircraft Interiors Expo held in Hamburg. The retrofitting process aims to enhance the passenger experience by providing more room for carry-on luggage, addressing a common concern among travelers.

flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, highlighted the importance of passenger comfort and convenience. He mentioned that the addition of larger Space Bins will significantly improve the overall travel experience for their customers.

Boeing’s Vice President of Marketing for Commercial Airplanes, Michael McAdoo, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation in aviation. He stated that this collaboration reflects both companies’ dedication to enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the airline industry.
