The approval of the AOC highlights SolitAir’s commitment to maintaining exceptional air safety and regulatory compliance, further establishing its role as a reliable partner in the logistics and supply chain sectors of the region. Hamdi A. Osman, the Founder and CEO of SolitAir, expressed that receiving the AOC affirms their operational excellence and readiness to innovate in air cargo transportation.

In addition to the AOC, SolitAir announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of a fourth aircraft. The airline currently operates three Boeing 737-800 BCF freighters, including one acquired under a dry lease agreement, alongside a Boeing 737-400 BCF. This fleet growth is part of SolitAir’s strategy to enhance its operations from its 220 000-square-foot logistics facility at Dubai World Central.

By the end of 2025, SolitAir plans to add four more aircraft to its fleet, with a long-term goal of expanding to 20 aircraft by 2027. The company is also exploring the integration of electric aircraft into its operations by the end of the decade as part of its sustainability vision. SolitAir’s fleet is designed for reliability and efficiency, making it capable of transporting specialized cargo, including temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals and e-commerce shipments.

Osman emphasized that SolitAir plays a crucial role in advancing Dubai’s ambition to enhance its industrial presence and become a leader in air cargo transportation. The company’s operations are set to connect Dubai with 50 key markets across Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East, which will enhance trade efficiency and contribute to economic growth in the Global South.
