Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, reported welcoming 1.6 million guests in February 2025. This achievement resulted in an impressive average passenger load factor of 89 percent.

The airline noted that total passenger traffic for the first two months of the year reached 3.3 million, an increase from 2.9 million during the same period in 2024.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, stated that February’s passenger numbers reflected a robust growth of 14 percent compared to the previous year, reinforcing the airline’s position as one of the fastest-growing in the world. He expressed satisfaction in maintaining the strong passenger load factor while preparing for a busy 2025, highlighted by the launch of 14 new routes.

Neves also mentioned that this growth is backed by the expansion of the operating fleet, which is approaching a total of 100 aircraft. Additional deliveries are anticipated throughout 2025, further supporting the airline’s ongoing expansion efforts.
