Dubai South has officially inaugurated a new aircraft painting facility operated by Satys, a French group specializing in aircraft painting, sealing, and manufacturing interiors. The ceremony took place at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai and was attended by key officials, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH.

The new state-of-the-art facility will offer finishing and painting services for business aviation jets and commercial aircraft, targeting models such as the Airbus A321 and Boeing 737. The hangar is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2025, enhancing the capabilities of the aviation sector in the region.
Tahnoon Saif highlighted the significance of this facility, stating that it adds value to the services provided at MBRAH and reflects Dubai’s commitment to attracting leading global companies in the aviation industry. He emphasized that Dubai South aims to position the city as a global aviation leader in line with the vision of the leadership.
Christophe Cador, CEO of Satys Group, expressed enthusiasm for the new hangar, describing it as a significant milestone in their global expansion. He noted that the facility will enable faster and high-quality services for both VIP and commercial aircraft, leveraging Dubai’s strategic location for growth in the Middle East and Asia.
Founded in 1986 in Blagnac, France, Satys operates in 12 countries, with a total of 50 sites worldwide and over 2,500 employees. The company is recognized for its expertise in aircraft painting and has a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. MBRAH serves as a free-zone destination for leading airlines and associated industries, aiming to strengthen engineering sectors within Dubai’s aviation hub.
