UAE and Denmark Forge Agreement on Sustainable Agriculture

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, and Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen have signed a significant agreement aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and food systems. This deal was finalized during Sheikh Abdullah’s working visit to Copenhagen, where he was warmly welcomed by His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including health, renewable energy, and artificial intelligence. They emphasized the importance of these collaborations in supporting the developmental priorities of both countries. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the robust and distinguished relationship between the UAE and Denmark, reinforcing their mutual commitment to fostering sustainable economic growth and prosperity for their nations and peoples.

In addition to the agreement, Sheikh Abdullah and Prime Minister Rasmussen exchanged views on regional and international developments, focusing on strengthening global efforts to maintain international peace and security. The UAE Foreign Minister also met with Søren Gade Jensen, the Speaker of the Danish Parliament, to further discuss collaborative initiatives.
