New Speed Limits Set for Major Highways in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Mobility has announced changes to the speed limits on key highways in the emirate. The limit on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road (E11) will be reduced from 160 km/h to 140 km/h, while the speed limit on Abu-Dhabi-Sweihan Road (E20) will drop from 120 km/h to 100 km/h. These adjustments aim to enhance road safety for all drivers.

These new speed limits will take effect from April 14, 2025. The announcement was made via a post on social media platform X, confirming the upcoming changes.

In its statement, Abu Dhabi Mobility emphasized the importance of adhering to the new speed limits to ensure safer travel conditions on these major roads.
