The college also achieved a 100% employment rate for its graduates, showcasing the success of its initiatives in preparing educators for impactful careers in UAE schools. Furthermore, 140 educational leaders were trained under its Educational Leadership Capacity Building Programme, strengthening leadership capabilities across the nation’s schools.

The Continuing Education Center (CEC) at ECAE made a significant contribution by training over 17,000 educators through nearly 350 professional development programs. Accredited by ACTVET and the National Qualifications Center (NQC), the CEC delivered more than seven million learning hours, helping educators acquire future-ready skills.

ECAE also unveiled a renewed strategic vision and brand identity while expanding global partnerships. Collaborations included strengthening ties with Singapore’s National Institute of Education and advancing the second phase of the Strategic Framework for Educational Excellence. These efforts aim to prepare educators as global leaders who uphold Emirati values and address the UAE’s unique educational needs.

In response to critical gaps in the education system, ECAE launched specialised tracks in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, enrolling over 75 students. The addition of two extra student intakes in 2024 reflects the college’s commitment to evolving its curriculum to meet future challenges.

Dr. May Laith AlTaee, Vice Chancellor at ECAE, described 2024 as a defining year for the institution. Speaking to WAM, she said, “Our record enrollment growth and the success of our graduates highlight the relevance of our programmes. At ECAE, we are dedicated to preparing educators who honor Emirati values while meeting global standards.”

The college also made strides in educational research. Faculty published over 30 articles in top-tier journals, presented more than 100 papers at international conferences, and secured 16 active research grants focusing on areas such as educational technology, STEM, and early childhood development.

Among its research highlights were projects on using the metaverse for problem-solving in mathematics, piloting Generative AI for teaching Arabic, and promoting autism awareness in UAE schools. Other studies examined topics like gender gaps in STEM and leadership’s impact on student performance using PISA 2022 data.

ECAE’s global recognition grew as its researchers earned spots on Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists list and published books with renowned publishers like Springer and Routledge. Membership in the World Education Research Association (WERA) further bolstered its international presence.

At GITEX GLOBAL 2024, ECAE showcased cutting-edge educational technology, including AI-powered tools and immersive VR solutions. Additionally, the Learning and Innovation Networked Communities (LINC) initiative connected 16 schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to promote innovative teaching and leadership practices.

The college also expanded its platforms for professional development and collaboration, such as the iLearn Forum and iRead initiative, fostering a culture of innovation and a love for reading among educators and students alike.
