TikTok and Influencers Hub Launch First Regional Training Camp

The Influencers Hub and TikTok have announced the launch of “CreatorsHQxTikTok#,” the first regional training camp. This initiative takes place at the Influencers Hub, which is the first dedicated space for influencers in the UAE and the Middle East, operating under the Visionaries Group, the largest content management and development platform in the UAE.

The five-day training camp aims to equip creative content makers with the skills and tools necessary for success in the digital space. Participants will focus on areas such as photography, editing, and producing high-quality content.

This camp provides an opportunity for content creators to bring their creative ideas to life. Participants will learn professional storytelling techniques, production and editing in the studio, and how to use the CapCut application for content creation. The resources provided by the camp enable content creators to quickly edit high-quality videos in the short video era, streamlining the production cycle and granting everyone access to professional tools. The camp also helps participants develop creative skills that allow them to produce meaningful content that supports the creative economy in the region.

The camp will host a selection of TikTok officials and experts, as well as representatives from specialized content creation companies. Notable content creators from the region will share their stories, skills, and pathways to success, showcasing how they managed to deliver impactful content that garnered millions of views.

Among the participants are Khalil Shatara, co-founder and CEO of Studio Sakoon; Anas Shatara, co-founder and COO of Studio Sakoon; Abd Al-Agha, CEO of Sochata; content creator Walid Al-Masrati; Hubert Sebidnam, author of the “Mr. Tester” blog; the content creator duo Milad and Melissa; and chef Shahrazad Al-Hajjar, who specializes in cooking content.

Kinda Ibrahim, the regional general manager of operations at TikTok for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Pakistan, and South Asia, stated that the partnership with Influencers Hub reflects their ongoing commitment to supporting the creative community in the Middle East. She emphasized that the training camp aims to provide emerging content creators with practical training, necessary tools, and support to bring their ideas to life in photography, editing, and storytelling.

Alaa Al-Hammadi, Deputy Director of the Media Office of the United Arab Emirates Government and Manager of the Billion Followers Summit, affirmed that their collaboration with TikTok to organize the first training camp of its kind in the Middle East is a significant step aimed at empowering content creators and influencers with creative skills. She noted that the camp focuses on producing meaningful content based on strong production foundations, contributing to a sustainable creative economy.

Al-Hammadi highlighted that the training camp serves as an exceptional platform that combines the scientific knowledge of TikTok experts with the practical experiences of leading content creators in the Arab world. This initiative aims to prepare a new generation of content creators capable of making a real impact and spreading positivity within communities.
