Strengthening Horticulture Exports: New MoU Signed by APEDB

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDB) has recently entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Food Cluster. This collaboration aims to enhance the horticultural export landscape between India and the United Arab Emirates.

This partnership is anticipated to kickstart significant investments and bolster trade relations, focusing particularly on the export of a diverse array of horticultural products. The UAE has emerged as a key market, and with this MoU, Indian exporters are expected to gain greater access and visibility for their products in the region.

For the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the initiative is particularly timely, as there is a growing demand for fresh and processed agricultural products. The collaboration not only fosters economic ties but also presents opportunities for knowledge exchange and technological advancements in agricultural practices.
