Beeah to Launch First Residential Project in Sharjah Amid Freehold Boom

Sharjah is poised to unveil a significant freehold residential and mixed-use project next week, as the energy and healthcare firm Beeah enters the real estate development sector. Khaled Al Huraimel, the Group CEO and Vice-Chairman of Beeah, stated that the new project will be located “right next to our HQ.” He emphasized that this endeavor has been a goal for the past decade, highlighting that it will focus on community development, incorporating ample green spaces and sustainability features.

Details regarding pricing and specific construction plans will be revealed next week. This launch takes place during a period of rapid growth in Sharjah’s freehold market, with notable projects like Aljada, Masaar, and Sharjah Waterfront City, in addition to developments by Shurooq. According to official figures, real estate transactions in the emirate remain robust, with a reported traded value of Dh5.5 billion from 8,415 transactions in May, particularly in the Al-Metraq and Muwailih Commercial areas.

Sustainability is integral to Beeah’s mission, as the company has previously focused on projects centered around environmental responsibility, such as waste-to-energy initiatives and solar technology applications.

In addition to its real estate endeavors, Beeah is also constructing a modern 266-bed hospital, named Jawaher Boston Medical, located in Sharjah’s Al Suyoh suburb. Al Huraimel noted that real estate is not a new venture for Beeah, as they previously completed their corporate headquarters, which was one of Zaha Hadid’s last designs before her passing. He remarked that the upcoming residential project represents a natural evolution for the company, which has always included real estate among its divisions alongside energy, healthcare, and technology.
