Kuwait is preparing to host the 2nd Digital Transformation Kuwait Oil & Gas Conference on 8–9 September 2025. This event, along with the inaugural Asset Integrity and Process Safety Kuwait Conference on 10–11 September 2025, is organized under the patronage of His Excellency Tariq Suleiman Al-Roumi, the Minister of Oil, and His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al Malik Al Sabah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil. Both conferences will take place at the Jumeirah Messilah Hotel, Kuwait.

The Ministry of Oil – Kuwait is spearheading these landmark conferences, which have garnered support from the Kuwait Oil Company and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company. Together, they are expected to attract over 500 senior decision-makers, more than 40 expert speakers, and over 50 global and regional solution providers. The 2nd Digital Transformation Kuwait Oil & Gas Conference will build on the success of its inaugural edition and focus on Kuwait’s national agenda for energy digitalization. Key themes will include the implementation of artificial intelligence, automation, digital twin technology, predictive analytics, and cyber resilience in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
The launch of the Asset Integrity and Process Safety Kuwait Conference is a significant step in addressing integrity management, process safety practices, and operational reliability across critical energy infrastructure. Mohammad Al-Abdeljalil, Deputy CEO (Planning & Innovation) of Kuwait Oil Company, expressed the company’s commitment to driving digital transformation across the energy cycle, emphasizing that the conference is a demonstration of their leadership in adopting advanced technologies.
Huawei’s CEO in Kuwait, Jeff Zhu, also highlighted the importance of digital transformation in the energy sector, stating that Huawei aims to support Kuwait’s evolving digital agenda by providing expertise in AI, cloud, and 5G technologies during the conference.
