His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved an additional AED100 million in compensation for owners of old houses in the Al Madam area. This decision is aimed at those who had previously been granted new houses as part of a housing initiative.

Previously, His Highness had sanctioned AED250 000 per house as compensation for the owners of 200 old houses that were replaced with new homes. With the new approval, the total compensation for each house will now increase to AED750 000, providing additional support to families who have transitioned into their new residences.
This measure reflects His Highness’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the living conditions of residents in Sharjah and ensuring they receive fair compensation during the housing transition process.
