Ajman has been recognized as the safest emirate in the UAE for daytime safety, achieving a perfect score of 100 percent in 2024. This ranking, announced by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre’s Security Quality of Life Survey, places Ajman alongside the capital, Abu Dhabi, as a leader in safety standards.

In addition to daytime safety, Ajman recorded an impressive 99 percent score in the national index for feeling safe when walking alone at night. This marks a significant improvement from its 2023 score of 98.5 percent. These results enhance the UAE’s reputation as a secure, stable, and appealing place to live.
Major General Al Nuaimi highlighted the improvements in police operations across various police stations and the launch of several security, traffic, and readiness initiatives that ensure quick response times. He noted that community engagement efforts led by social protection units and community policing have also been essential in fostering a strong and trusting relationship with residents.
He expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council; and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
These accomplishments not only enhance public confidence but also contribute to the nation’s economic growth and the successful execution of key national strategies, including the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision, Ajman Vision 2030, and the UAE Centennial 2071.
