The Office of Hajj Affairs for the United Arab Emirates has declared its full readiness for Hajj 2025, focusing on delivering the highest standards of service and care to Emirati pilgrims. This initiative aims to address all pilgrims’ needs with dedication and responsibility, aligning with the aspirations of the UAE’s leadership and the government’s strategic vision of excellence and quality in service delivery.

To enhance the experience of pilgrims, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has initiated a unified public awareness campaign called “Healthy and Safe Hajj 2025.” This campaign, in collaboration with health authorities across the UAE, is designed to promote essential health guidelines for pilgrims before, during, and after the pilgrimage, ensuring their comfort and health security.
As part of the campaign, the Ministry recommends that all pilgrims carry copies of their official identification documents. This measure will help facilitate the issuance of a “Return Document” within 30 minutes in case of passport loss, damage, or misplacement. The awareness program includes a downloadable multilingual guide available on the Ministry’s website, responses to health-related inquiries from pilgrims, ongoing communication with medical teams, and the provision of medications and medical consultations. Furthermore, psychological and advisory support will be available to enhance the quality of care for pilgrims.
The campaign emphasizes the importance of receiving crucial vaccinations prior to travel, specifically those for meningitis, seasonal influenza, and pneumococcal infections. It also promotes awareness about adhering to preventive health measures during the Hajj period, such as avoiding injuries, managing heat stress, and maintaining a healthy diet to ensure a safe environment for Emirati pilgrims.
In addition, the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has unveiled a comprehensive plan to enable UAE pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals smoothly and with confidence this year. This plan includes innovative strategies to raise awareness about the rites of Hajj and strengthen institutional partnerships, aiming to provide integrated services for pilgrims. These efforts reflect the UAE’s progressive approach to organizing Hajj affairs.
