UAE and Lebanese Presidents Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun have reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing bilateral relations during a recent phone call. The leaders discussed the strong ties between their countries and various aspects of cooperation, as reported by the national news agency Wam.

The conversation also covered a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, including developments in the Middle East. Both leaders emphasized the significance of advancing efforts to promote peace in the region.

In early May, during Aoun’s first official visit to the UAE since taking office, both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in vital sectors. They specifically highlighted economic and investment collaboration “through joint opportunities, knowledge exchange, and government development.” Additionally, they agreed on implementing necessary procedures to facilitate travel for citizens and ease movement between the two countries.
