UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties during a recent phone conversation. The leaders discussed the fraternal relations between their nations and various aspects of cooperation, as reported by the national news agency Wam.

In addition to bilateral relations, the two presidents addressed several regional and international issues of mutual concern, including developments in the Middle East. They emphasized the importance of advancing efforts to promote peace in the region.
Earlier in May, during Aoun’s first official visit to the UAE since taking office, both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in key sectors such as economic and investment. They discussed leveraging joint opportunities, knowledge exchange, and government development to achieve these goals.
Furthermore, the two sides have agreed to facilitate travel for their citizens by implementing necessary procedures and mechanisms to ease movement between the UAE and Lebanon.
