The leaders explored various prospects for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Canada, aiming to develop and enhance their partnership across multiple fields, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. Prime Minister Carney, who took office in March following the resignation of Justin Trudeau, emphasized the importance of this dialogue.
Additionally, the crown prince and Carney addressed issues related to energy security and the potential for deepening trade between Riyadh and Ottawa. According to a statement from the Canadian premier’s office, both leaders committed to maintaining close communication moving forward.
