Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, the Egypt Proptech Challenge aims to expand its regional reach and enhance its impact. The initiative is positioned as a leading platform for innovation in the real estate sector, offering participants significant exposure and real-world business opportunities. Participants will benefit from direct feedback from a panel of judges, which includes venture capitalists and digital transformation experts, aiding them in refining their business models and establishing strategic relationships.

This year’s challenge will highlight innovations that are transforming real estate and urban development. Startups from Egypt, the GCC, and Africa, selected by Cityscape, will showcase cutting-edge solutions in areas such as PropTech, ConTech, smart city solutions, real estate innovation, and sustainability. Finalists will also receive mentorship opportunities, with the most promising ventures highlighted during the Cityscape event.

Robier Daniel emphasized that “the return of Egypt Proptech Challenge reflects our commitment to driving innovation and digital transformation in the real estate sector.” He noted that the collaboration with 500 Global is designed to create a platform that connects visionary startups with key stakeholders, ultimately scaling their impact across Egypt, the GCC, and Africa.

Amal Enan, a Partner at 500 Global, expressed confidence in the potential of PropTech to redefine the construction and investment landscape in the region. She stated that Egypt is rapidly becoming an innovation epicenter and that by investing in visionary founders across Egypt, Africa, and the wider MENA region, 500 Global aims to accelerate entire ecosystems and create lasting impacts.
