MT Group has officially launched Phase 2 of its supply chain expansion in Abu Dhabi, a significant achievement in the Emirate’s advanced manufacturing goals. This announcement was made during the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025 and includes plans for a large-scale valve manufacturing facility and a forging unit, both operated by MT Group subsidiaries, MT OKAY and MT YINGLIU.

The expansion follows the successful commissioning of Phase 1 and is facilitated through collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and MT Valves. This move aims to strengthen MT Group’s industrial footprint in the Emirate. The two companies involved in this new phase, MT OKAY and MT YINGLIU, are working alongside MT Valve and Industries International, which managed Phase 1.

The new manufacturing facility will cover more than 11 500 square meters and will incorporate smart manufacturing technologies, including automation and digital control systems. It is designed to produce high-performance industrial valves up to 56 inches in diameter for key sectors such as energy, water, and heavy infrastructure. With an investment of up to AED 100 million, this facility is expected to create approximately 200 skilled jobs, including positions in engineering, operations, and digital manufacturing.

In addition, the industrial forging unit, which will occupy 12 000 square meters, is set to establish the UAE’s first precision free and pattern forging operation. This unit will manufacture components ranging from 2 to 48 inches in diameter, supporting high-spec applications across industrial and energy sectors while utilizing energy-efficient technologies. The construction is currently underway, backed by another capital investment of up to AED 100 million, which will result in around 100 new specialized jobs.

Mohammad Al Kamali, Chief Industry and Trade Officer at ADIO, stated that MT Group’s ongoing investment in Abu Dhabi reflects the Emirate’s commitment to being a reliable partner for industrial innovators aiming for global expansion. He emphasized that Abu Dhabi provides world-class infrastructure, advanced regulatory frameworks, and a business-friendly environment, making it an attractive platform for manufacturers looking to transform their supply chains and reach international markets.

Snow Feinan Li, Vice Chair and Group Board Member of MT Group, mentioned that this expansion represents a significant milestone in MT Group’s journey in Abu Dhabi. He noted that by investing in strategic manufacturing capabilities, the company is not only localizing supply but also setting high international standards. Li highlighted Abu Dhabi’s unique advantages for industrial innovation and export excellence, expressing pride in contributing to the Emirate’s status as a leading industrial hub in the region.
