Sanad, a leader in aerospace engineering and leasing solutions, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GE Aerospace at the Make it in the Emirates 2025 event in Abu Dhabi. This partnership builds on a collaboration that began in 2013 and focuses on advancing human capital through immersive training, innovation-driven programs, and structured knowledge-sharing initiatives.

With a significant increase in global demand for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) professionals anticipated, the MRO sector is projected to reach $169 billion by 2037. This agreement aims to strengthen the UAE’s talent pipeline and solidify Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aerospace hub.

Mansoor Janahi, managing director and group CEO of Sanad, emphasized the value of human capital in their operations. He stated, “At Sanad, human capital is our most valuable asset. Sanad and GE Aerospace plan to implement a range of targeted programs that will provide a mix of technical training, job-placement opportunities, and digital learning to prepare the next generation of aerospace professionals.

Currently, Sanad is the only GEnx overhaul provider in the Middle East, operating under a long-term agreement that extends through 2034. Over the past five years, Sanad has successfully completed more than 250 engine inductions. This new agreement highlights the strength of the partnership and Sanad’s proven track record in delivering world-class MRO services.
