NMDC Energy PJSC has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Gharbia, a leading advanced pipeline manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi. This partnership aims to explore methods to accelerate pipe production within the UAE to cater to both local and regional demand for pipeline infrastructure.

Al Gharbia is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced manufacturers of Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipes globally. It is also among the first large-scale producers to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies, enhancing its manufacturing capabilities significantly.

Ahmed Al Dhaheri, the CEO of NMDC Energy, emphasized the company’s commitment to identifying synergies that can lead to impactful solutions for the evolving needs of the energy sector. He expressed pride in strengthening the partnership with Al Gharbia to advance pipe manufacturing in Abu Dhabi, benefiting not only the UAE but the entire region as well. He noted that this collaboration showcases the sophistication and depth of UAE home-grown businesses, highlighting their local significance and global relevance.

At the MIITE event, NMDC Group and NMDC Energy are demonstrating their role as catalysts for development in Abu Dhabi. The Group is also announcing several strategic partnerships and providing updates on its international projects, which include activities in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, and Vietnam, in addition to their ongoing work in the UAE.
