Getting a taxi in Dubai has become more convenient with the addition of over 6 000 taxis to the Bolt app, thanks to a new partnership with Dubai Taxi Company (DTC). This expansion includes various vehicle types, such as Ladies and Family Taxis (Pink Taxis) and vehicles designed for People of Determination.

This initiative is part of Dubai’s long-term plan to transition 80 percent of taxi trips to electronic booking systems. The aim is to enhance both convenience and efficiency for residents and visitors alike.

To celebrate this expansion, Bolt is offering users 30 percent cashback on their first three rides, with no surge pricing applied during this promotional period. The app also includes features such as real-time tracking, in-app safety tools like emergency buttons, and a driver rating system, emphasizing its commitment to providing reliable and high-quality service throughout the city.

In a tweet, Dubai Taxi Company highlighted the benefits of the new partnership, stating that it offers “more choices, more convenience and seamless rides, all at the tap of a button.”
