NMDC Energy PJSC, which provides engineering, procurement, and construction services for both offshore and onshore energy clients, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Gharbia. This collaboration aims to explore methods to accelerate pipe production in the UAE to meet the growing local and regional demand.

Al Gharbia is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced manufacturers of Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) Pipes globally and has been a pioneer in adopting industry 4.0 practices on a large scale.
Ahmed Al Dhaheri, CEO of NMDC Energy, emphasized the company’s commitment to identifying synergies that lead to impactful solutions to meet the evolving demands of various industries. He expressed pride in building the relationship with Al Gharbia, stating that this partnership will enhance pipe manufacturing in Abu Dhabi, benefiting not just the UAE but the entire region. Al Dhaheri highlighted the significance of their collaboration, showcasing the sophistication of UAE-based businesses and how their combined expertise is both locally important and globally relevant.
During the ongoing MIITE event, NMDC Group and NMDC Energy are demonstrating how their initiatives act as a catalyst for the development of Abu Dhabi. The Group’s partnerships and projects are designed to support the UAE’s efforts in shaping its modern landscape and stimulating the local economy.
Additionally, the Group is set to announce several strategic partnerships and provide updates on its international projects. These include ongoing activities in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, and Vietnam, alongside their initiatives within the UAE.
