As reported by MSN, Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, the ADNOC Director of the Commercial & In-Country Value Directorate, emphasized that the awarding of these contracts underscores the significant impact of ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) program on the economic and industrial growth of the UAE. He noted that these contract awards create a ripple effect across the economy, enhancing productivity, competitiveness, and the creation of highly-skilled jobs for local talent.

Key beneficiaries of these contracts include prominent companies such as NMDC Energy, Target Engineering, Al Dhafra Co-operative Society, Arab Development Establishment, Excel Astra Engineering, Robt. Stone, GISCO, and Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting. The awards reflect ADNOC’s commitment to engaging national suppliers capable of delivering substantial value across its operations.

Looking ahead, ADNOC plans to invest an additional AED200 billion (approximately $54.5 billion) into the UAE economy over the next five years through its ICV program. Furthermore, the company aims to locally manufacture AED90 billion (around $24.5 billion) worth of products in its procurement pipeline by 2030.

To enhance access to commercial opportunities, ADNOC recently introduced the Make it with ADNOC mobile app. This app provides suppliers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and entrepreneurs with insights into the company’s purchasing needs, making it easier for them to pursue long-term commercial opportunities.

Since its launch in 2018, ADNOC’s ICV program has consistently driven economic and industrial growth in the UAE, contributing to the creation of over 17,000 jobs for Emiratis. The company encourages all local businesses, from established suppliers to emerging entrepreneurs, to take advantage of its procurement pipeline and support the nation’s long-term prosperity.
