Trendyol, a rapidly growing e-commerce marketplace, has partnered with Zid, a leading e-commerce enablement platform in Saudi Arabia, to enhance growth opportunities for local merchants in the Kingdom and the UAE. This collaboration allows Zid merchants to integrate their stores with Trendyol, granting them immediate access to over three million customers on the platform.

Mohamad ElAnsari, CEO of Trendyol Gulf, emphasized the importance of empowering local businesses and enhancing the regional e-commerce ecosystem. He noted that both Trendyol and Zid share core values centered around being digital-first and making a significant impact on the local community, thus contributing to regional economic development. ElAnsari mentioned that this partnership is a crucial step toward their long-term goal of enabling two-way commerce with Saudi Arabia, highlighting that they have already welcomed 1 000 local SMEs to their platform in a short span of time.
Zid provides a unified approach to both digital and physical retail for sellers. The integration with Trendyol aligns with Zid’s Total Commerce vision, which enables merchants to manage all sales channels—online, offline, in physical stores, and social commerce—through a single platform.
Mazen AlDarrab, CEO of Zid, pointed out that with Trendyol as a key sales channel, Zid merchants can easily set up their stores and synchronize inventory, product listings, logistics, and payments. This integration not only expands access to high-growth markets but also equips merchants with essential tools and insights for scaling their businesses. AlDarrab reinforced their commitment to being a catalyst for growth and unlocking regional opportunities for merchants.
This partnership underlines Trendyol’s dedication to creating a localized and inclusive marketplace that addresses the evolving needs of Gulf consumers and businesses. As the company continues to develop its partner ecosystem, it remains focused on enabling more brands to scale effectively and thrive in the digital economy.
Founded in 2010 in Istanbul, Trendyol has become one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms, connecting over 250 000 sellers and global brands with more than 40 million customers across various countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Zid, established in 2017 by Mazen AlDarrab and Sultan AlAsmi, is at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s retail digital transformation. Headquartered in Riyadh, it serves over 13 500 local merchants and offers consumers more than two million SKUs. Zid provides a comprehensive suite of solutions, including online payments, point-of-sale systems, and streamlined shipping, while being aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
