Although MGM Resorts International operates casinos in various locations, there are currently no gaming facilities planned for The Island. However, MGM President and CEO William Hornbuckle indicated that there is potential interest in incorporating gaming into the project if regulations allow. He emphasized that the establishment of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority in the UAE could facilitate future developments in this sector.

The Island aims to combine luxury accommodation with the vibrant atmosphere associated with Las Vegas, presenting a unique offering in the Gulf region. With these iconic brands and the development’s strategic location, Dubai is set to enhance its status as a premier travel destination.
