flydubai has announced the launch of a new daily service to Peshawar, one of the largest cities in South Asia. This new route will begin on Thursday, May 15, and will connect travelers from Dubai to Bacha Khan International Airport in Pakistan.

Flights will depart from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 8:55 PM Gulf Standard Time (GST), arriving in Peshawar at 1:05 AM Pakistan Standard Time. Return flights from Peshawar will leave at 2:05 AM Pakistan Standard Time and arrive back in Dubai at 4:15 AM. This new service provides additional options for travelers in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) when flying to Pakistan.

Since its first flights to Karachi in 2010, flydubai has expanded its network in Pakistan to include cities such as Faisalabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot. Business class return fares from DXB to PEW start at Dhs5,270, while economy class Lite fares begin at Dhs1,300. For return flights from PEW to DXB, business class fares start around Dhs5,110 and economy class Lite fares from around Dhs1,371.

Peshawar, located in northwestern Pakistan, boasts a rich history, making it one of the oldest cities in South Asia. The city dates back to 39 BCE and is renowned for its historical sites, such as the Masjid Mahabat Khan Mosque, built in 1630, featuring a beautifully tiled interior.

Shopping in Peshawar is also a delight, with local offerings that include semi-precious stones, carpets, and honey. Cultural landmarks such as the historic Bala Hisar Fort and the Qissa Khwani Bazaar highlight the city’s vibrant past, which once served as a hub for traders and poets.
