Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has inaugurated a new branch at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, marking a key element of its strategy for smart expansion and leadership in integrated banking services. This new addition brings SIB’s total number of branches in the UAE to 34, with five located in the capital city of Abu Dhabi.

The Yas Mall branch represents an advanced model of integrated smart banking, combining state-of-the-art digital solutions with direct, interactive services. Strategically positioned in one of the UAE’s leading commercial and tourism hubs, this branch serves as an important connection point for both individual and corporate clients of SIB.

This new branch is part of SIB’s comprehensive digital transformation initiative. It features a modern banking model that integrates self-service digital platforms, allowing customers to complete their transactions swiftly and securely, any time of day. Additionally, the branch provides direct teller services during official working hours, creating a fully integrated banking experience under one roof.

Nabil Abou Alwan, Head of Retail Banking at Sharjah Islamic Bank, highlighted the significance of the Yas Mall branch as a valuable addition to the bank’s network. He noted its strategic location in one of the capital’s most notable commercial centers, stating that it caters to the evolving needs of a diverse clientele, especially in environments that merge entertainment, commerce, and tourism.

Abou Alwan emphasized that the aim of this new branch is to enhance customer access to banking services in the capital’s developing areas. He further mentioned that the branch adheres to modern standards and features contemporary design, offering a complete range of services from account openings to teller services, alongside smart self-service machines for efficient transactions.

The branch operates from Monday to Saturday, welcoming customers from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with teller services available until 9:30 PM. On Fridays, services begin at 4:00 PM and continue until 10:00 PM, with teller services also available until 9:30 PM. This flexible schedule is designed to accommodate customers’ needs for convenience.

Services at the Yas Mall branch include the issuance of checkbooks and banking cards, account statements, financing applications, and data updates, among others.
