H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, the CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah and a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA)’s Conferences and Exhibitions Advisory Council, emphasized the Centre’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with various World Trade Centers. He stated that strategic partnerships are essential for bolstering Sharjah’s status as a premier destination for exhibitions and conferences.
During a meeting held at Expo Centre Sharjah, Al Midfa and Omar Ayyash, President and CEO of World Trade Center (WTC) Kentucky, discussed strategies to strengthen their cooperation. They aimed to foster the growth of the exhibitions sector, which plays a vital role in promoting global trade. Al Midfa highlighted Expo Centre Sharjah’s significant expertise in organizing international exhibitions and major events.
Al Midfa also pointed out that the Centre is focused on enhancing its leadership and improving the capabilities of its teams in international trade. He noted that maintaining strong connections with exhibition platforms in key markets, particularly in the United States, is crucial. The collaboration with WTC Kentucky presents an opportunity for both entities to exchange best practices in event management, promote global trade, and improve the exhibition sector’s capacity to attract investments and enhance business tourism.
Omar Ayyash expressed his satisfaction with the productive meeting and recognized the potential for collaboration between WTC Kentucky and Expo Centre Sharjah. He praised the accomplishments of Expo Sharjah, which have established it as a benchmark in managing major exhibitions and international events. Ayyash added that this success enables joint efforts to create an exceptional platform for Kentucky-based companies to access Middle Eastern markets.
