UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Daniel Noboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, met to discuss strengthening their bilateral cooperation. The dialogue focused on key areas including the economy, trade, renewable energy, sustainability, investment, tourism, and agriculture.

The discussions aimed to foster mutual benefits and support the prosperity and development of both nations and their peoples. During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Noboa and congratulated him on his re-election, expressing wishes for his continued success in leading Ecuador towards greater progress.
Both leaders emphasized their commitment to enhancing cooperation and expanding the scope of their partnership in the coming years. They highlighted the importance of leveraging opportunities to promote mutual growth. Additionally, they exchanged views on regional and international issues that are of common interest and reaffirmed the necessity of working towards peace and stability at both the regional and global levels, which is vital for supporting development and prosperity for all.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted the significant progress in relations between the UAE and Ecuador, indicating that both countries aim for further growth, particularly in the economic sector. He expressed the UAE’s eagerness to deepen its economic partnerships with Latin American nations, highlighting the strides made that support the development of UAE-Ecuador relations.
In response, President Daniel Noboa thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, reiterating Ecuador’s commitment to strengthening ties with the UAE. The meeting was attended by various high-ranking officials, including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and several ministers from both countries.
