Taking place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, this year’s fair highlights the Culture of the Caribbean Basin as the Guest of Honour. Additionally, Ibn Sina has been chosen as the Focus Personality, and the Book of the World is One Thousand and One Nights. With participation from local and international publishing houses, the fair promises to be a comprehensive celebration of literature and culture.

According to a report from the Abu Dhabi Media Office, over 2 000 events are slated for the fair, including the inaugural Poetry Majlis and the first-ever Digitising Creativity Conference. In total, 1 400 publishing houses from 96 countries are taking part in this cultural gathering.

With a notable turnout anticipated, the event is set to be a major platform for authors to launch and promote new publications. The theme for this year’s fair aligns with the UAE president’s declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community. The cultural programs will feature a variety of activities across literature, translation, arts, and discussions, including debates, workshops, dialogues, and lectures by prominent authors.
