Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday for a two-day official visit. This trip is focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan.

Upon his arrival, Sheikh Abdullah was welcomed at the airport by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar. The visit has been labeled as ‘significant’ and is seen as a testament to the ‘deep-rooted and historic ties’ shared by both nations.
The Foreign Office stated that this high-level visit highlights the commitment of both countries to expand their mutual cooperation in areas of shared interest. During his time in Pakistan, Sheikh Abdullah is expected to engage in discussions with senior Pakistani officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Key topics on the agenda include trade, investment, energy collaboration, regional security, and enhancing people-to-people connections. The two nations are also anticipated to review regional developments and deliberate on joint initiatives.
