The “UAE Global Cadres” initiative is part of the UAE’s established strategic partnerships with international financial institutions. It reflects the Ministry’s commitment to nurturing national talent and enhancing the country’s presence on a global scale, in alignment with the leadership’s long-term vision.

H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, emphasized that the initiative will significantly support the UAE’s strategic vision for empowering national talent and enhancing their role in global decision-making. He stated, “This initiative is more than just an opportunity to raise awareness among national talent; it is a long-term investment in empowering Emiratis to contribute to international financial institutions and offer innovative perspectives that showcase the UAE’s excellence across various financial and economic domains.”

Sheikh Maktoum further expressed that the people of the UAE are its true strength and greatest asset. Through this initiative, the aim is to expand the nation’s presence in global financial institutions by equipping national talent with world-class expertise. He noted that the knowledge and skills gained from these global opportunities would not only improve their capabilities but also enhance their contributions on both regional and international stages. This, he added, will in turn boost the national economy and support the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Concluding his remarks, Sheikh Maktoum described the initiative as a strategic bridge to strengthen collaboration with international financial bodies. He highlighted its role in enhancing the UAE’s ability to influence global economic policy and solidifying its reputation as a trusted and dynamic global financial hub.

Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, supported the initiative, stating that it will accelerate the Ministry’s efforts to develop a new generation of Emirati leaders ready for roles in international finance. He remarked, “This initiative not only reinforces the Ministry’s institutional reputation but also strengthens its position as a leading federal entity advancing the UAE government’s strategic vision.”

Al Hussaini further explained that “UAE Global Cadres” is designed to promote awareness of global financial institutions and the extensive training and development opportunities they provide. Participants will receive high-level training, acquiring advanced skills, practical experience, and exposure to international best practices, preparing them for leadership roles within these organizations.
