India and Saudi Arabia are in discussions to explore joint projects in the fields of refineries and petrochemicals, as stated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview with Arab News. This announcement comes as Modi begins a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

During the interview, Modi emphasized that the two nations are currently conducting feasibility studies for establishing electricity grid interconnectivity, which would link India and Saudi Arabia alongside the broader region. This step is aimed at enhancing energy cooperation between the two countries.
