OPSWAT, a prominent player in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) cybersecurity solutions, has announced its participation as a Diamond Sponsor at GISEC Global 2025. This key event will take place from May 6 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, organized by the UAE Cybersecurity Council in collaboration with the Dubai Electronic Security Center. During this event, industry professionals will have the opportunity to engage with OPSWAT’s thought leaders and explore strategic partnerships aimed at tackling cybersecurity challenges.

Sertan Selcuk, Vice President for METAP and CIS at OPSWAT, emphasized the company’s focus on critical infrastructure, which he described as “the lynchpin of economic progress and an increasingly popular target for threat actors.” He explained that the company will demonstrate how their solutions address the latest cybersecurity challenges, particularly the ongoing merger of IT and OT. Visitors to OPSWAT’s CIP Mobile Lab will witness live demonstrations of leading solutions aimed at securing vital infrastructure.
In addition to the Mobile Lab, OPSWAT will feature a Nuclear Plant Model Reactor to showcase its expertise in securing sensitive environments such as nuclear power plants. On the second day, Benny Czarny, Founder and CEO of OPSWAT, will present on the Government Stage, advocating for a reevaluation of traditional firewalls in response to AI-driven exploits and encrypted attacks. Additionally, Kris Voorspoels, OPSWAT’s Director of Products and Solutions, will participate in a panel discussion addressing security concerns in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) within the oil and gas sector.
Aligning with the UAE National Cybersecurity Strategy, OPSWAT Academy will offer free CIP certifications, including File Security Associate and Web Traffic Protection Associate, to enhance cybersecurity standards across the region. Selcuk reiterated the company’s commitment to providing IT/OT cybersecurity solutions and developing the necessary talent to protect critical infrastructure effectively.
