ITHCA Group has officially launched the Yango ecosystem in Oman through a partnership with Yango Group, a global technology firm. This collaboration aims to introduce advanced digital solutions and AI-driven services to the Sultanate, supporting its goals for digital transformation and economic growth.

As part of this initiative, ITHCA Group and Yango Group have acquired Otaxi, a prominent mobility platform in Oman. Working closely with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), the two companies are upgrading Otaxi’s technology to improve service speed, precision, accessibility, and scalability. Their objective is to expand Otaxi’s operations to all governorates and enhance its service offerings in areas such as delivery, rentals, and smart maps, aligning with global best practices to reinforce Oman’s digital economy.
This launch aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040 and supports national efforts to diversify the economy and enhance digital capabilities. The partnership, backed by a stable regulatory environment, aims to introduce AI-powered services across various sectors. These services will be implemented in coordination with local infrastructure and regulations to align with national priorities.
According to UAE News 24/7, Said bin Abdullah Al Mandhari, CEO of ITHCA Group, noted the significant role acquisitions play in fostering business growth and competitive advantages. He explained that for emerging startups like Otaxi, aligning with established industry leaders presents unique opportunities to enhance operations and achieve international success.
Al Mandhari further mentioned that bringing Otaxi under a global umbrella signifies a pivotal moment for the company. He expressed confidence that this acquisition will elevate Otaxi’s operational standards to international levels, broaden its market presence, and diversify its service offerings, which include home delivery, vehicle rentals, and interactive maps.
Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Group Middle East, commented on the robust digital momentum in Oman and highlighted Yango Group’s commitment to delivering solutions that meet local needs. He stated that their ecosystem is designed to empower communities and foster sustainable economic impact through technological innovation.
