AIREV, a rapidly growing artificial intelligence start-up based in the UAE, has secured an investment from the Irish venture private equity firm Venturewave Capital. This funding will support AIREV’s expansion as it develops one of the world’s first AI operating systems, called ‘On-Demand’. The investment will allow AIREV to explore new market opportunities both in the UAE and Ireland.

As reported by Zawya, with over 4 million AI-first users globally, AIREV is backed by Core 42, a G42 company. The company is refining its innovative agentic AI Operating System, On-Demand, designed to facilitate the economic shift toward post-Artificial General Intelligence/Artificial Super Intelligence. The platform enables users to create customized AI applications by utilizing leading large language models and a range of AI tools, simplifying user experience and fostering rapid innovation in generative AI products.
AIREV has already established commercial agreements with Panchea, a supplier of computer systems, and AIdeology, a provider of AI technology solutions and an Nvidia Elite Partner. Currently, the start-up is in discussions for commercial and research development with Fortune 500 semiconductor firms. The On-Demand platform has attracted over 60 000 users, offering access to advanced inference capabilities from models including those from OpenAI, Google’s Gemini, Meta’s Llama, and the Arabic language model Jais, developed by Inception, another G42 company. Additionally, On-Demand integrates seamlessly with major ERP and CRM systems like Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, while also allowing hardware providers to monetize their infrastructure through user activity.
The signing of the investment agreement was attended by HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, and HE Niamh Smyth TD, Ireland’s Minister for Trade Promotion, AI and Digital Transformation. Minister Smyth emphasized that Venturewave Capital’s investment in AIREV underscores Ireland’s role in connecting global tech innovation, noting that AIREV’s contributions to AI in various sectors, from education to healthcare, showcase technology’s potential to bridge markets.
Muhammad Khalid, AIREV’s Founder and CEO, highlighted the platform’s transformative potential for businesses, stating that On-Demand allows companies to quickly and affordably tailor AI solutions to their needs. He expressed excitement about the early growth and community built around On-Demand and looked forward to expanding the market for customized AI solutions in collaboration with Venturewave Capital.
Alan Foy, Executive Chairman and Founder of Venturewave Capital, expressed satisfaction with the strategic investment in AIREV, which is positioning itself as a global leader in AI solutions. He noted that AIREV’s team is dedicated to developing technologies that not only enhance human potential but also tackle real-world challenges in sectors such as education, healthcare, and energy.
Founded in 2023 by Muhammad Khalid (CEO), Dr. Youssef Youssef (COO), and Kayaan Unwalla (CSO), AIREV also includes other AI-driven ventures, including the educational technology platform School Hack. The company is part of Microsoft’s startup program and the Nvidia Inception program, with On-Demand developed entirely on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
