47 Global Companies Show Interest in Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Park Phase 7 Development

Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is attracting significant international interest, with 47 global companies expressing their desire to participate in the development of its seventh phase. This announcement was made by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the CEO and Managing Director of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

According to WAM, Al Tayer told that this level of interest demonstrates the project’s appeal within the renewable energy sector. The seventh phase of the solar park is anticipated to play a crucial role in enhancing Dubai’s sustainability efforts and achieving its clean energy targets.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is a key component of Dubai’s energy strategy, which aims to generate 75% of its total power output from clean energy sources by 2050. The involvement of these international companies could significantly boost the scale and efficiency of the upcoming solar phase, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a leader in renewable energy innovation.
