The UAE and Sweden have formalized an agreement focused on political consultations, aiming to strengthen collaboration in various sectors such as the economy, trade, education, and culture. This agreement was established during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, and Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maria Malmer Stenergard, in Stockholm.

During this working visit to Sweden, Sheikh Abdullah also engaged in discussions with Swedish Minister of Defence Pål Jonson. Additionally, he was present alongside Benjamin Dousa, the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, to witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to enhance investment and business opportunities between the two nations.
