Sharjah Ruler Allocates Dhs76.350 Million to Clear Debts for 147 Citizens

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee (SDSC) to approve Dhs76.350 million to settle the debts of 147 citizens who were convicted in financial cases or are insolvent due to deceased estates. This initiative aims to provide a stable and decent life for the citizens of Sharjah.

Rashid Ahmed Bin Al Sheikh, the Head of the Emiri Court and Chairman of the SDSC, announced this significant financial assistance. He noted that the total amount disbursed by the SDSC, from its inception to the current batch, now totals over Dhs1.280 billion, benefiting a total of 2,648 individuals.

This ongoing support reflects the commitment of the Sharjah government to assist its citizens in overcoming financial hardships, demonstrating a proactive approach in fostering a supportive community. The efforts made by the SDSC highlight the importance of social responsibility and financial stability for the residents of Sharjah.
