This marks the UAE’s third appearance at the Asian Winter Games. The country made its debut in 2011 in Kazakhstan, competing in ice hockey. By 2017, in Japan, the UAE expanded its participation to include ice hockey and figure skating.

The committee highlighted the athletes’ strong preparation and dedication, emphasizing the UAE’s growing presence in international winter sports. This participation reflects the nation’s ongoing efforts to make an impact on the global stage in sports.
