Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, held a meeting with Laurent Freixe, CEO of Nestlé, at his office in Dubai. Nestlé, as the world’s largest food and beverage company, was at the center of discussions aimed at enhancing economic cooperation.

During the meeting, Sheikh Maktoum underlined Dubai and the UAE’s focus on building strong partnerships with global leaders like Nestlé. He highlighted the country’s strategic initiatives, including infrastructure growth and innovation-driven policies, as key factors attracting investments and talent to the region.
Sheikh Maktoum also pointed out that collaborations with international companies are vital to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. This ambitious plan aims to double Dubai’s GDP and position it among the top three global urban economies.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials, including Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, among others.
According to the Government of Dubai Media Office, this engagement reflects Dubai’s continued efforts to foster innovation and drive economic growth by partnering with global giants like Nestlé.
