flydubai has announced a new partnership with Ultramain Systems, a company specializing in electronic technical logbook software. This move is part of the airline’s efforts to embrace innovative technology and enhance its operational efficiency.

The ULTRAMAIN ELB, a digital solution provided by Ultramain Systems, will replace the traditional paper logbook system. This will allow flydubai’s pilots and engineers to access real-time data, improving collaboration and reducing the need for manual processes. The airline believes this shift will also strengthen its safety standards by ensuring better accuracy and compliance.

Christian Hall, Vice President of Engineering at flydubai, shared with Emirates 24/7 that the airline is keen to adopt digital solutions to optimize its performance. He highlighted that the new system will offer advanced analytics and eliminate the need for bulky paper logbooks, making operations smoother.

Tim Spears, Vice President of Onboard Systems at Ultramain Systems, expressed excitement about working with flydubai. He noted this partnership as a significant step in expanding Ultramain’s presence in Dubai and meeting the growing demands of the aviation sector.

flydubai currently operates a fleet of 88 Boeing 737 aircraft, serving over 125 destinations in 55 countries. With a workforce of more than 6,000 employees, including 1,200 pilots and 600 engineers, the airline is continuously investing in technology to support its growing network.
