According to Emirates 24/7, from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM, toll charges will be completely waived. On weekdays, drivers will pay AED 6 during peak hours, which are 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Outside these hours, the fee will drop to AED 4, applying from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
On Sundays, a flat rate of AED 4 will apply all day, except during public holidays and special events. During Ramadan, the flexible tariff system will not be implemented.
Salik’s updated toll structure is part of Dubai’s broader strategy to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion on its roads.
