In an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), El Hilali shared insights about an upcoming Executive Office meeting set to take place in Fujairah on 8th February. This meeting will coincide with the 5th Arab Taekwondo Championship, which is scheduled from 5th to 7th February at the Zayed Sports Complex. The agenda for the meeting will cover several important topics, including proposed changes to specific committees, annual programs and activities, and a review of the accomplishments of Arab champions at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
El Hilali also emphasized that Fujairah has achieved global recognition for its ability to host and organize international tournaments. This acclaim is largely attributed to the support and patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah and the Honorary President of the UAE Taekwondo Federation. His backing has been instrumental in elevating the status of taekwondo events in the region.
