Dubai is set to host a major gaming competition, NVIDIA RTX AI GameCraft, in collaboration with NVIDIA GeForce Middle East. Organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the event will take place on January 23 at Emirates Towers Boulevard. It will bring together game developers, students, and industry experts to create games using NVIDIA’s advanced AI technology.
The competition, held under the theme “Dubai: Between the Past and the Future,” aims to celebrate the city’s cultural heritage and forward-looking vision. Participants will craft innovative games, and a panel of judges will select 15 finalists, with the top three winners announced at the end.
This initiative is part of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33), launched in November 2023 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The program aims to position Dubai among the top 10 cities in the $200 billion global gaming industry. It also seeks to create 30,000 jobs and boost Dubai’s GDP by $1 billion by 2033, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
Faisal Kazim, Head of DPG33, emphasized that the collaboration with NVIDIA showcases Dubai’s commitment to merging AI with creativity to redefine gaming. He noted that the initiative supports the city’s goal of becoming a global hub for gaming and interactive technologies while fostering talent and partnerships.
Chantelle Tavid, Marketing Director at NVIDIA MENAT/CIS, praised the partnership, highlighting the potential of AI in transforming gaming and creative industries. She added that the event reflects a shared vision for innovation and storytelling in the digital space.
