Arab Plast 2025 Set to Begin in Dubai with Over 750 Exhibitors

Dubai is gearing up to host the 17th edition of Arab Plast, the largest trade exhibition for the plastics, petrochemicals, recycling, packaging, and rubber industries in the Middle East and North Africa. Starting tomorrow, January 7, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event will run until January 9, welcoming over 750 exhibitors from 35 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, China, Germany, and India.

Attendees will also see pavilions representing more than 12 countries, showcasing the latest technologies and products that highlight sustainability and environmental awareness in these industries.

Nidal Mohammed Kadar, Exhibition Director, emphasized the region’s role in shaping the future of these sectors, saying the Gulf and Middle Eastern countries are key players in the global plastics and petrochemicals industries due to their abundant natural resources, according to WAM.

The event will also underline Dubai’s position as a hub for innovation and modern technologies in these fields. Sadiq Al Lawati, Executive Director of Polymer Marketing at OQ Oman, the main sponsor, described Arab Plast as a platform that brings cutting-edge advancements to the global stage.

Organizers project the exhibition will attract more than 10,000 visitors this year. Industry leaders like Borouge, KEZAD, Tasnee, and Ecopolymers will present groundbreaking innovations that align with sustainability goals.

Farah Abdul Hamed, Media Director for the exhibition, noted the growing participation from across the region, highlighting the event’s increasing importance globally. According to her, the annual exhibition continues to expand, cementing its role as a key platform for industry professionals.

Arab Plast 2025 promises to provide insights into the promising future of plastics, petrochemicals, and related sectors while reinforcing the GCC’s leadership in these industries.
