His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, met with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, on Sunday in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation between their countries, particularly in economic, trade, and development sectors.
The meeting emphasized the strong historical ties between the UAE and Pakistan. Both sides expressed their shared commitment to advancing their partnership in areas that benefit their peoples and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Regional and international issues of mutual interest were also reviewed during the discussions. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s ongoing support to Pakistan, particularly in development initiatives, and highlighted the importance of strengthening relations further.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan.
