Dubai Art Season 2025: A Celebration of Creativity

Dubai is set to come alive with creativity as Dubai Art Season 2025 kicks off from 4 January to 20 April. Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, this year’s theme, “Take a Walk on the Art Side”, focuses on enriching Dubai’s cultural scene and boosting its reputation as a creative hub.

Dr Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts & Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, highlighted the season’s role in fostering a sustainable environment for artists and attracting global talent. Speaking to the Government of Dubai Media Office, he shared that Dubai Art Season reflects the emirate’s vibrancy and its commitment to cultural tourism, connecting creatives and inspiring innovation.

The season opens with the *Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert* festival from 4 to 12 January. With the theme *‘Stories at One with Nature,’* the event will feature films, live performances, workshops, panel talks, art installations, and a family-friendly zone. It aims to support the regional film industry and nurture new talent.

On 25 and 26 January, the *Al Quoz Arts Fest* returns for its twelfth edition, promising music, cultural performances, and diverse experiences at Al Quoz Creative Zone and Alserkal Avenue.

The *Emirates Airline Festival of Literature* follows from 29 January to 3 February at the InterContinental Hotel Festival City. With over 150 events, it will bring together authors, creatives, and thinkers. Highlights include *Desert Stanzas* and the *Bil Emirati* programme featuring Emirati and international authors.

The *Sikka Art and Design Festival* will take place from 31 January to 9 February at Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood, showcasing Emirati and regional artists through visual arts, workshops, and performances.

The season wraps up with the 18th edition of *Art Dubai* at Madinat Jumeirah from 18 to 20 April. Visitors can explore contemporary and international art across four sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Art Dubai Digital.

Additionally, Dubai Opera will host musical and theatrical performances throughout the year, spotlighting regional and global talent.

Dubai Art Season 2025 promises an inspiring journey through art, culture, and innovation, reaffirming Dubai’s status as a global creative destination.
